Random Snapshots

It's fall here now, so the flowers are dying back and there's very little to photograph. I also can't seem to find any inspriring fruit. So, here are some random snapshots.



A Frenchman designed these lights. Unfortunately, I only had my digital camera with me, and no tripod so this is the best I was able to do. A flash would simply cut through the light being shone onto the Minster and ruin the effect.

All photos were taken with a Canon PowerShot S500 Digital Elph 5MP camera at maximum resolution and picture size, using the macro setting. The black and white photos were taken using the B&W effect. The pomegranates were photographed on a large Marks & Spencer platter using daylight filtered through frosted glass and an overhead 50 watt halogen bulb.
